St. Edith Stein Medal

St. Edith Stein Medal. Patron saint of martyrs/loss of parents (Memorial - Aug. 9). Born into a Jewish family, she converted to Catholicism as an adult. She entered the Carmelite order and was martyred for her faith in a concentration camp.
